Poetry

In lovers’ haze we have lost perspective;
Looking not with the eyes, but solely with the heart.
We grow older (hopefully, wiser)
But yet, not colder.
Just as the nightingale sings
(sweet songs of summer days)
It too flies, finding peace amongst
Winter’s silvered clouds:
Singing, still, beneath the waning moon.
